Ying CUI is the Deputy Director General of the International Institute of Green Finance (IIGF) at the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE). She is also a member of the Carbon Peaking and Neutrality Professional Committee under the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences. She holds a Masterâs degree in Environmental Engineering and has accumulated over 17 years of working experience in the field of climate change. Her primary research areas include Climate Finance, Carbon Market Mechanisms, and Green Bonds. Ying CUI possesses extensive research experience collaborating with entities such as the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Natural Resources, local governments, and international institutions like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Resources Institute (WRI), and Energy Foundation (EF). Furthermore, Ying CUI has taken on roles as an assessor or reviewer for more than 30 green bond evaluation and verification projects.
