Local Green Finance Research Center
The Green Finance Research Center focuses on China’s green finance policy progress and market research. The Center has built a Provincial Green Finance Database in China based on which it released the Annual Chinese Provincial Green Finance Evaluation Report. Green Finance Center supports the development of green finance in China and provides policy recommendations and green finance-related consultation to both national and provincial-level authorities in China.
Through continuous database improvement, objective, and detailed data analysis of green finance in each province, the Green Finance Research Center strives to develop green finance blueprints that would serve as essential decision-making references across the country.

Green Finance Development in Chinese Provinces- Evaluation Report (2020)
IIGF regularly conducts a multi-dimensional assessment of the provincial-level green development in China. In 2020, for the third time in a row, IIGF released The Evaluation Report of Provincial Green Finance Development in China (2020).The report compared local experiences in promoting green finance, identified the main obstacles in the acceleration of green finance in various provinces, and recognized the future challenges and opportunities. The results of the report could support development of the green financial system in China.

On February 22, 2023, the International Institute of Green Finance（IIGF）, Central University of Finance and Economics（CUFE） and Social Science Academic Press jointly organized the launch of the Blue Book of Green Finance, including the Annual Report On The Local Green Finance in China (2022).
