SHI Yichen

Professor Yichen SHI is an expert on ESG index standards, ESG disclosure, environmental stress testing, and climate scenario modeling, focusing on China. Prof. Shi holds the positions of the Deputy Director-General, Chair Professor, and the Head of Green Finance Innovation Laboratory at the International Institute of Green Finance (IIGF). Moreover, he is a Dean at the Yangtze River Delta Green Investment Institute, where he delivers lectures on green and corporate finance,  investment, futures, and options.

His primary research focuses on corporate finance, corporate social responsibility, capital market theory, and behavioral finance. Currently, his academic work covers the green stock index, the ESG index, and Environmental Stress Testing.

His papers were published in world-renowned financial journals such as: Financial Management, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Asia-Pacific Journal of Financial Studies, and Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies.
