Xinru Cheng is a Researcher at the International Institute of Green Finance. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Business Information Systems from the University of Sydney. Xinru Cheng is deeply engaged in ESG indicator systems and ESG rating management. She has participated in numerous ESG consulting projects for financial institutions and listed companies. Additionally, she has been involved in several project research initiatives, including: Climate and environmental information disclosure guidelines for listed companies within state-owned enterprises in China (Energy Foundation); Research on the regulatory trends of environmental and climate risks (Green Finance Committee); Governance information disclosure standards for listed companies under Chinese central state-owned enterprises (SASAC); China Green Finance Research Report (2022), among others.
